My name is Carla Williams, and I am a travel agent with Magical Moments Vacations. I love to travel, I love planning, and I love details—which are all key to being a good travel agent. I approach my clients as friends (whether we started that way or end that way) and hope to help each of them to have the vacation that they dream of. I live in the western suburbs of Chicago with my husband and our two boys.

I grew up on a farm in rural Illinois, and my parents’ love of traveling—in our case taking road trips across the United States—helped introduce me to a much bigger world. We would pack up everything and set out for a direction. Literally, my parents would decide we were going “West” or “East,” “North or South,” and then we would drive for a few weeks from Southern Illinois throughout the country, driving in whatever direction they chose for that trip. If there was a national park, monument or site, there was a good chance that we stopped there. We traveled regularly to Disney World, and I was lucky to be able to experience the magic of Disney as I grew up. By 20, I had visited 49 out of the 50 states (it took me 10 more years to finally reach my unicorn, Alaska) and had made countless trips to Disney World, Universal Studios, beaches, mountains, parks and museums.

I was lucky to meet and marry an amazing man who shares that same love of seeing new places and trying new things. Together, we began exploring more of the U.S. and traveling internationally. When we had our boys, it was only natural that traveling with them and helping them to see the big and beautiful world in which we are fortunate enough to live became a priority to us.

Family, friendships and time are among the most precious parts of our life. Traveling is the opportunity to enjoy and appreciate each of those things. I want each of you to experience those magical moments that come when we immerse ourselves in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios, see the sun set at our favorite beach, ski down the slope at our favorite mountain getaway, enjoy a shore excursion from our favorite cruise ship, explore the trails at our favorite national park, or feel the magic of a hug from Mickey Mouse. I am here to help you find all the magical moments awaiting you!
